How to take measurements for a sweater.
Measure the child from the neck to the very end of the wrist.
Next measure from the neck to where you want the sweater to end.
Don't forget to measure around the biggest part of the belly of a child.
This will give you a taylored fit and look great on your child.

This sweater took 5 balls of yarn, about 810 yards of yarn.
Cost of the sweaters will be calculated by the size of the child and the amount of yarn used to make the sweater.
Keep in mind that it takes me about 3-4 weeks to hand knit a large sweater.
One of my favorite thing is to make children sweaters, socks, and hats !
I have chosen beautiful yarns that are soft and easy to take care of.
I recommend a light hand washing for wool, a little liquid fabric softner of your choice in the rinse water, block and air dry.
Some of the sweaters can be washed on a delicate cycle in cold water and fluffed dry in the dryer on a cool setting.
Keeping children warm is so important , now you can do it in style.
Our crafts are made the old fashion way.
By hand, and with love.

Size 2 needles, two balls of sock yarn or fingering weight yarn.
2 KNEEDLE SOCK CLUB SOCKS
Cuff of sock.
Cast on 64 sts, K2 P2 across, turn and repeat the K2 P2 sts this is your ribbing.
Do this for 2” for a nice beginning.
Leg of sock
Now you will K one row, then P back till you reach 6-8” depending how long you want them .
I decided that doing the heal right at the very first stitch I liked the way it looked better and it was faster.
Heal Starting at the right side you will be doing the pattern across the first 32 sts. Put the rest of the stitches on a stitch holder till needed.
Heel
K2, slip one as to purl, K1 , Slip 1 repeat to the end.
Purl back. Do this till you have 2 ¼ “
Turning the heal.....
After you K. Across the last row of the heal, turn and you will be on the purl side.
Purl 16 sts across, P2 together, P1 turn. Now K 5 sts, K 2 tog in the back of the stitches, K1 turn. Purl to 1 St before the space and P 2 together, P1 turn. K across to 1 St before the space , K2 together, K 1 . Continue in this manner till you have 18 St on the needles.
Now you will need to pick up 12 stitches from the right side of the heal . K across the 18 St, pick up 12 stitches on the left side of the heal and Knit across the 32 sts from the stitch holder. ( I usually put them on a double pointed needle when I get to this point, it makes it easy to knit across.
Do the second heal and get both of them on the same needle.
Shaping the foot
Your pattern now is K across and purl back. After you do 4 rows I want you to decrease in equal increments.
Her is what you do…… K 8 , K2 tog in the back of the stitch, repeat this till you get to the end. It will keep your sock from being bunchy around the front of the sock.
Now you will just K and P back and forth till you get the right length, between 7-8”
Decreasing the toe.. This is new and It looks and feels awesome.
K1, slip 1 as to purl , just like the heal for every K row. Purl back
To decrease…. K 8 , K2 tog in the back of the sts.
Purl back
K 7, K2 tog in the back of the sts.
Continue till you have 20 sts.
Now you will split these sts on two needles and knit them up and binding off.
Sew up the side seam and TA -DA you done!
